Realising that our presentation skills are not always as good as they could be (and often not as good as visiting speakers from the UK and Ireland), we created SHOP.

Where? We meet at Paris 3 - Sorbonne Nouvelle at the Centre Censier, 13 rue Santeuil, 75005 Paris, M° Censier-Daubenton (map). Room 318.

What about the presentations? There will be a maximum of five 10-minute presentations per session with 10 minutes of questions and 10 minutes of feedback per paper. Presentations should be in English and relevant to your own research. It could be on any topic - we have chosen general topics for each session, but they are only an indication.

Those presentations aim at practicing any type of skill we might need: using handouts, using powerpoint slideshows with an overhead projector, etc..

When? Every second Saturday of the month, at 10 am and through lunch time.
